As a Christmas charity project, Martinrea’s Icon facility participated in making blankets for one of their local nursing homes. Becky Odle, Project Management Coordinator led the event by teaching employees how to create their blankets. There were two sessions held for blanket making, one with several volunteers, and another with management staff. In all, 15 blankets were made and given out to the Alzheimer’s unit in the Indiana Creek nursing home in Corydon, In.
“I thought it was a great exercise for our team members and management,” said Becky Odle, Preventative Maintenance Coordinator. “Each one of us created a different blanket design and enjoyed working together outside of work as well!”
